
Cancellation Policy
At Take A Trip India, we understand that plans can change. You or any member of your group may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. All cancellations must be communicated in writing or via email by the person who made the booking. The following cancellation charges will apply:
Cancellation Charges (Per Person)
- 30 days or more before departure: 25% of total cost
- 20–29 days before departure: 50% of total cost
- Less than 19 days before departure: 100% of total cost
- During peak season: 100% cancellation charges apply once booking is guaranteed
Note: For any refund requests, the final decision rests with the respective hotel, ferry operator, or transporter.
If We Change or Cancel Your Holiday
We strive to plan all arrangements in advance. However, in rare circumstances, we may need to make changes or cancel your booking. If this occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- If circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather conditions) prevent us from fulfilling the booking, we will first attempt to offer alternative dates, provided the tour has not yet started.
- If the tour has already commenced, we will offer a refund on a pro-rata basis for the portion of the tour not utilized.
In such cases, refunds will be processed according to the respective service provider's policy. Please note that a 10% service charge (of the total package cost) will be deducted for administrative efforts.
Changes to Your Holiday
If you wish to modify your confirmed travel arrangements (such as dates or accommodation), we will make every effort to accommodate your request. All modification requests must be submitted in writing. Please note:
- Changes are subject to availability and applicable charges.
- Any costs incurred due to amendments will be borne by the traveler.
